Your mission

Financial Planning & Analysis: Own and continuously improve financial models including budgeting, rolling forecasting and target setting.
Management Reporting & Performance Management: Develop and monitor SaaS and financial metrics (e.g. ARR, churn, LTV, CAC, gross margin, burn rate, runway) to provide financial insights for data-driven decision making, ensuring alignment with our long-term goals. Lead action plans to maximize value of the right strategies and close gaps if any.
Business Partnership: Partner with department heads (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Tech and People & Culture) on commercial and headcount planning, cost optimization and ROI analysis. Identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable insights to the leadership.
Financial Reporting: Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Present financial reports to the executive team, board of directors, and investors.
Cash Flow Management: Plan, monitor and analyze cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the company’s financial health and performance in line with long-term plan.
Financial Process Management: Establish processes and tools appropriate for scaling high growth business
Investor Relations: Prepare investor reporting and present complex financial data in digestible form for the key investors.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies. Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard company assets.
Team Leadership: Lead a two-person Finance team, with a focus on building a high-performing, collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement and professional growth. Foster a culture of teamwork and drive the team's development to achieve excellence.

What we are looking for?

3–5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance, or a similar role, ideally in a startup, scale-up, or SaaS environment
Strong understanding of SaaS business models and metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, etc.)
Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills. Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders and influencing decision-making at senior levels
Solid knowledge of financial reporting, cash flow management, and budgeting processes
Familiarity with investor reporting and board-level communication
Experience building or improving financial processes in a scaling organization
First leadership experience or strong motivation to lead and develop a small, high-impact team
High level of ownership, hands-on mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial topics into clear insights
Strong attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Fluent in English (German is a plus, depending on company needs)

Deine Mission

Financial Planning & Analysis: Du verantwortest die Finanzplanung und -analyse und entwickelst unsere Finanzmodelle kontinuierlich weiter – inklusive Budgetierung, rollierender Forecasts und Zieldefinition.
Management Reporting & Performance Management: Du entwickelst, analysierst und steuerst SaaS- und Finanzkennzahlen (z. B. ARR, Churn, LTV, CAC, Gross Margin, Burn Rate, Runway), um fundierte, datengetriebene Entscheidungen zu ermöglichen und die Ausrichtung an unseren langfristigen Zielen sicherzustellen. Du leitest konkrete Maßnahmen ab, um den Wert der richtigen Strategien zu maximieren und identifizierte Lücken zu schließen.
Business Partnership: Du arbeitest eng mit den Bereichsleitern aus Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Tech sowie People & Culture zusammen – insbesondere bei der kommerziellen Planung, Personalplanung, Kostenoptimierung und ROI-Analysen. Dabei identifizierst du Risiken und Chancen und lieferst umsetzbare Insights für das Leadership-Team.
Financial Reporting: Du verantwortest ein präzises und fristgerechtes Finanzreporting, einschließlich monatlicher, quartalsweiser und jährlicher Abschlüsse. Zudem präsentierst du die Finanzberichte dem Executive Team, dem Board of Directors und Investoren.
Cash Flow Management: Du planst, überwachst und analysierst Cashflow, Working Capital und Liquidität, um die finanzielle Stabilität und Performance des Unternehmens im Einklang mit der langfristigen Planung sicherzustellen.
Financial Process Management: Du etablierst skalierbare Finanzprozesse und geeignete Tools, die den Anforderungen eines stark wachsenden Unternehmens gerecht werden.
Investor Relations: Du bereitest Investoren-Reportings vor und präsentierst komplexe Finanzdaten verständlich und strukturiert für unsere wichtigsten Investoren.
Compliance & Risk Management: Du stellst die Einhaltung aller relevanten Finanzvorschriften, Steuergesetze und internen Richtlinien sicher und entwickelst sowie implementierst Strategien zum Risikomanagement zum Schutz der Unternehmenswerte.
Team Leadership: Du führst ein zweiköpfiges Finance-Team und schaffst ein leistungsstarkes, kollaboratives Umfeld mit Fokus auf kontinuierliche Verbesserung und fachliche Weiterentwicklung. Du förderst eine starke Teamkultur und treibst die Entwicklung des Teams hin zu Exzellenz voran.

Dein Profil

3–5 Jahre Erfahrung in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance oder einer vergleichbaren Rolle – idealerweise in einem Startup-, Scale-up- oder SaaS-Umfeld
Sehr gutes Verständnis von SaaS-Geschäftsmodellen und -Kennzahlen (ARR, Churn, CAC, LTV etc.)
Ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten in Financial Modeling, Forecasting und Analyse sowie Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit fachfremden Stakeholdern und der Beeinflussung von Entscheidungen auf Senior-Level
Fundierte Kenntnisse im Finanzreporting, Cashflow-Management und in Budgetierungsprozessen
Erfahrung mit Investoren-Reporting und der Kommunikation auf Board-Ebene
Erfahrung im Aufbau oder der Weiterentwicklung von Finanzprozessen in einem skalierenden Unternehmen
Erste Führungserfahrung oder eine starke Motivation, ein kleines, wirkungsstarkes Team zu führen und weiterzuentwickeln
Hohes Maß an Ownership, eine hands-on-Mentalität und die Fähigkeit, in einem schnelllebigen Startup-Umfeld erfolgreich zu agieren
Sehr gute schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten sowie die Fähigkeit, komplexe finanzielle Sachverhalte klar und verständlich zu vermitteln
Hohe Detailgenauigkeit, Integrität und eine proaktive Herangehensweise an Problemlösungen
Verhandlungssicheres Englisch (Deutsch ist je nach Unternehmensanforderung ein Plus)
